At a Glance: 2008 Nissan Armada

Following an extensive number of enhancements in the previous model year, the 2009 Nissan Armada continues to refine its equipment and package offerings in order to maintain its leading position as the full-size adventure SUV for active families.

For the 2009 model year, the equipment previously included in the LE Preferred Package (heated front seats, power quarter glass flip-out, power folding outside mirrors with puddle lamps and turn signals, memory setting for driver�s seat/mirrors/pedals and Bluetooth� Hands-free Phone System) and LE Tow Package (receiver hitch with 7-pin wiring harness, larger battery, 3.357:1 gear ratio) now comes standard on the Armada LE base model. The 2009 Armada also features new 20-inch Chrome Clad wheels on the Armada LE equipped with the Technology Package. In addition, a moonroof is now available with the Armada SE Driver�s Package and 2nd row Captain Chairs are available on all Armada LE packages.

The 2009 Nissan Armada is offered in four models, each equipped with a 5.6-liter Endurance V8 with 317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque. Available Flexible Fuel Vehicle technology (FFV) allows drivers to use traditional gasoline or an alternative fuel such as E85, a mix containing 15 percent renewable ethanol and 85 percent gasoline. Also standard is an advanced 5-speed automatic transmission. Available towing capacity of up to 9,100-pounds is provided by Armada�s heavy-duty frame and suspension.

Every Armada offers an array of available luxury and safety features � including a 3rd row power folding 60/40 seat (optional LE), dual-zone automatic climate control, Vehicle Dynamic Control and supplemental roof-mounted curtain air bags for all three rows. Available Armada technology includes a Nissan Intelligent Key�, RearView Monitor, Bose� sound system, Nissan Navigation system with an XM NAVTRAFFIC� system with real-time traffic information (XM� contract required, sold separately), 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive and DVD Entertainment System.
